PROJECT DETAILS
Trinity Grammar School is moving ahead with its plans for the next stage of its $127m development of the Summer Hill campus. As part of those plans Number 3 Oval will be excavated to create an additional car park which will be connected to the car park under the existing synthetic grass football field. This existing surface has been removed and upgraded with a new environmentally friendly synthetic field that can double up as a dual sports field and multi-use playground while redevelopment works proceed around the campus.

- GF Slide Max Pro NF30 was chosen for its compliance in meeting FIFA Quality requirements except for skin friction and skin abrasion. Slide Max Pro also meets the FIH and FIFA Field Testing requirements for Multi-Sport 3.
- The new surface was installed over an existing suspended car park slab utilising the existing shock pad of the old synthetic grass surface.
Environmental considerations are becoming increasingly relevant to schools and Councils due to the growing concerns of intentionally used microplastics such as rubber infills for football fields.
